Regardless of your passion being buses old or new, ShowBus is the place to be – Britain’s BIGGEST event of its kind.

Your chance to wallow in passenger transport nostalgia takes place this Sunday (17th) at Donington Park with the advent of the 45th ShowBus rally. So far as bus rallies / events matter, ShowBus is the big one. Literally hundreds of vehicles from vintage to modern descend upon one of England’s better known raceways. For those avid fans of the bigger classmates of B.L or Leyland Motors its the place to be.

I could have easily taken this one home. The once massive fleet of United Automobile Services Darlington once operated this stunning 1987 Leyland Tiger 260 that was on display last year.

So if you just love Atlantean, go nuts for the National, dream about Dennis Dominators or simply want to admire a good few pairs of Bristols to name but a few the gates open at 10.00am sharp. Entry charge is £15 but for this you get to see everything that matters in the bus and coach industry be it historic, present and future on public display.

Also, there’s an impressive array of trade stands, exhibitions, autojumbles and catering facilities to whet the appetite for fans of public transport. Click on the highlighted link above to find out more and how to get there – its promising to be a really good event that’s now in its 45th year.
