TOO HOT WORKERS WALK OUT

Hundreds of workers walked out on sweat strikes yesterday as Britain sizzled in temperatures near the nineties. Three Midlands car factories closed down when the men on the assembly line got hot under the collar about the heat. Production was halted at the Rover plant at Solihull, Warwickshire, at the nearby Range-Rover plant, and at the Austin-Morris lines at Cowley, Oxford.
