X6-based : Vanden Plas 1800
Vanden Plas produced a variety of prototypes based on BMC/Leyland models. One of these used the Austin X6 as its donor car.

From the front, the car looks unchacteristically handsome, especially considering its rather mixed parentage...

Rear view shows the car to be virtually standard X6 at the back - apart from the Vanden Plas script on the bootlid.
