i bought a rover 216  -1993 which have been broken into. Probably is the imobilizer active …

i previous had a rover 400 with that problem but on the 400 i got the security code, and i dont have that for this 216. Also at the fuse box there is these loose plugs- should they go anywere or are this for “options” that isn’t on my car.

when i try to tow start the car there is nothing happening , and the key doesn’t turn the starter .

The immobiliser is one of the things working on that cars. I have the MGF and recently my remote just died. I just insert the security code from the drivers door lock and not use the remote….al the others solution will only make more damage

You can order the security code on the net look arround on the web.
