I can’t help you with colouring in the image, but I do remember seeing it alongside a coloured in picture of the genuine Maestro in an issue of Car magazine in 1980 (32 years ago, ouch!)

I think I must be one of the few that thought then (as I do now), that the final Maestro was the better looking and much more original design.

Well said John, the final maestro shape with integral plastic bumpers looks so right, and much better than other proposals.
IMO what spoilt the maestro was the steel bumper models, especially the final few years of production which were steel bumper only.
