Purely academic this one, but if you had the opportunity to purchase one of the 75s oriental successors, which one would you choose?

For my money I would go for the 750, I love the revised boot and of course it’s a Roewe. I think i’ve heard somewhere that the MG7 isn’t as well built, so that would also swing it. But for a left field choice, what about the export only MG750?

Just too much choice, what would you go for?

Or I could just buy an old 75 and replace the badges with this:

You really do get bored don’t you.

How could we possibly know!!! they’re not our market!! no-ones driven one or seen one in the metal!!

If you pick the MG7 you may aswell just have a ZT or 75. If you pick a Roewe it’d be for the facelift. But seeing as it’s not possible to pick either economically. Why bother asking lol

@Mark – I have no idea what I have done to offend you, but I am now beginning to find your constant sniping and bullying is getting too much. This is the last time I will ever post on AROnline, hope you’re satisfied.

@Ian.

I really hope that is an attempt at a joke.

If you feel bullied, I apologise. However, you’re not being bullied and as someone who has experienced people get bullied first hand, I find it insulting. get a grip

@Lanto, I like your threads and comments so please don’t stop posting :wink:

Also, I think I would go the Roewe because as you haved pointed out, that facelift is gorgeous. I think I would have to rip those awful Roewe badges off though and replace them with something more appropriate though.

Having been a jeweller by trade in the past, I think I would cast some Wolseley badges and make a custom grille to give it the illuminated radiator that it deserves.

Oh and Mark, I am passing through China on the way to Europe in April. If I get a chance I will definitely be having a look at these Chinese Roewes / MGs in the flesh. The curiosity is killing me lol.

Has to be the MG7 for me. I don’t like the 750′s facelift. Or can I just have an original 75?
