BEIJING (Reuters) – Top Chinese automaker SAIC Motor Corp. said on Tuesday it sold 22 percent more vehicles in August than a year earlier.
SAIC Motor , which runs vehicle manufacturing ventures with General Motors Co. and Volkswagen, sold 286,814 vehicles in August, compared with 234,616 in the same month of last year, the company said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
