MG Car Club : Zed models’ 10th Anniversary celebrated at ZedTen

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of MG Rover’s launch of the MG ZR, ZS and ZT and to celebrate the MG Car Club’s ZR/ZS/ZT Register will be organising a special event – ZedTen will be held at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambridgeshire on the 24th  July, 2011.

One of the cars set to star at ZedTen next July will almost certainly be 24 year old Louise Allen’s modified MG ZR which recently appeared on the MGCC’s stand at the Classic Car Show in Birmingham. However, in the meantime, an interview with Louise appears in the latest issue of the MGCC’s SafetyFast! magazine which AROnline readers can access via that link.

MGCC Zed Register Chairman, Neil Mattock, said: ‘The MG Car Club’s Zed Register is thrilled to welcome Louise on board and her ZR certainly ranks amongst the most impressive anywhere in the World. We are excited about working with Louise to develop the MGCC’s relationship with the owners of Zed model cars and have lots of exciting plans in the future. Of course 2011 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Zed model cars and the celebration we are planning at Duxford promises to be spectacular and we’re expecting a bumper turnout.”
