Forum problems

Postby HH-R on Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:56 pm

Most links I click in the forum don't load and instead pop up a box saying

You have chosen to open viewtopic.php

which is a: Plain Text
from: www.aronline.co.uk

What should Firefox do with this file?
Open With: TextEdit (default)

Any ideas? I'm on Max OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" and use Firefox 3.6. Can post a screenshot if needed?
Thanks :D

It seems OK now. Apologies for 4 copies of this thread, it's not clear if it has worked or not lol!

I remember Keith saying there's usually a problem with the host on a Sunday, could be related to that possibly?

Edit: still running badly.

Every Sunday, as regular as clockwork. Fucked off with it - Streamline deny there is any problem...

It's shite during the week at times too - Went *really* bad yesterday, but seems a lot better now; I reckon a rogue script drags the server down, and it takes days before someone does a 'top' on the server to find out what process is causing problems..

I've had problems as well, normally it's when I've selected a thread & get a blank white screen.
