Visitors to Goodwood’s Festival of Speed (23-26 June) will be the first to witness the new Jaguar F-Type SVR as it makes its UK driving debut. The 200mph Jaguar will be will have its work cut out making a splash on its appearance at Goodwood’s iconic hillclimb event, given the quality of the cars on show there.
Engineered by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, the supercharged 5.0-litre V8-powered sports car is the first to wear the prestigious ‘SVR’ badge and takes performance to the next level. Capable of sprinting to 60mph from standing in just 3.5 seconds and with an exhaust note synonymous with its racing pedigree, the newest Jaguar sports car is a showcase for what the company can do in its fight against Porsche in the two-seater sports car market.
