The R3 was very much a British design - and like the MGF, developed on a very tight budget... it also had something of an afterlife.
Much was expected of the new 200 - its namesake had established itself as a fleet and family favourite in the UK. The rounded style of the new model has followed the lead established by the 600, and in much the same way, its classy appearance was expected to help the company make big profits with this car...
