AROnline‘s team reaches the finishing line.

We’ve made it. Our wonderful little car is now parked outside the Seaview Hotel in John o’Groats. The drive through the Highlands, along the lochs and finally the North Sea shores has simply been fantastic. Every drop of rain we have had on the first days of the journey was offset by the sheer amount of sunshine we have had on the last stretch through Scotland.
Starting line at Bothwell castle.
The Highlands overlooking Loch Lomond.
Driving along Loch Ness.

Congratulations to Alexander and Team AROnline for making it to John O’Groats in one piece, and in such fine shape. You’re an inspiration to us all, and proof positive that the ADO16 is still one fantastic car!
Congratulations to all those ADO16’s. They look good and proved they are still up to the task.
Well done, and glad that you got to see the wonderful Scottish scenery in sunshine!
Just for info, the second picture is actually looking south to Loch Tulla from the A82 car park at the start of Rannoch Moor.
Thanks for sharing your adventures!
An Austin 1100 was my first car, and my second ! I remember going to see a rather rusty example, (a fairly common experience in those days), and the gentleman selling it told me his wife wanted a Vanden Plas 1100.
