After seeing for myself just how much interest Mike McCabe‘s gorgeous Copperleaf Rover 75 Connoisseur aroused, both on the cavalcade and in the event field, I began to ponder the small matter of getting a bunch of 75 Owners together. Now why do that? Well, for one, most 75 owners are a pretty enthusiastic bunch – and it makes sense in these tough times to start pooling our resources – maybe have a few meetings…

So, if you own a 75 or a ZT and reckon a few impromptu gatherings are in order, drop me a line, and if there’s enough interest, we’ll set something up. The first opportunity would appear to be Peterborough, so if you have a 75 and fancy chatting to some likeminded individuals, come over to our stand and say ‘hi’. If enough people email me, I will try and arrange some space for a 75 ‘car park’.

My colleagues at Classic Car Weekly might laugh at me, but I reckon the 75 has already attained classic status. I mean, look at it…
