Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas 2009!
Merry Christmas 2009!

It’s been a challenging 2009, that’s for sure… and, from what I’m hearing, 2010 is going to be more of the same, even as the rest of the world clambers out of an unprecedented global recession.

However, for a couple of weeks in December, we’re able to put all of that aside, and enjoy some much needed relaxation, have a few drinks, and appreciate the good things in life – like friends and family.

I’ll be doing that during the Christmas break – and maybe I’ll even get some time to work on my Polski-Rover. The SD1’s been hidden away in my garage since returning from Poland and I think it’s time to start getting it ready for a return to the road. I need something BL-shaped to enjoy that’s for sure.

As for the New Year… I’ll make the same resolution I always do: to buy less cars. It won’t happen, though – it never does – but, as I look at my rash purchases during 2009, I’d say that the new crap-car pick-up rate is slowing down. Maybe.

Anyway, have a great holiday, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.

  1. Merry Christmas to all. I am a Christian, so Christmas is extra special to me. I have spent today driving around in my much loved 1992 three door R8. I have an R3/25, a 420GSi R8 Tourer and a 1960 Sprite. One day I might have an 800 Coupe.

  2. Merry Christmas to all from snowy cold Southern Hungary.
