Land Rover gave the MY10 Range Rover, MY10 Range Rover Sport and new Discovery 4 their UK launch at Motorexpo 2009 which opened yesterday in London’s Canary Wharf and, in addition, announced price and specification details for the revised Range Rover.

The latest Range Rover offers a choice of two all-new engines – a 3.6 litre TDV8 and the 5.0 litre V8 from the Jaguar XFR and XKR. All four versions of the MY10 Range Rover have updated exterior styling and completely redesigned interiors.

The Vogue TDV8, which costs £64,695 otr, comes equipped with 19in alloy wheels, Adaptive Dynamics. LED front and rear lights, 12in TFT Virtual Instrument Panel, iPod and USB connectivity and a touch-screen SNS. The Vogue SE costs £70,995 otr and has 20in alloy wheels, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, a dual view touch-screen and adaptive bi-xenon headlights.

The Autobiography specification level can be had with either the 3.6 litre TDV8 engine or the 5.0 litre Supercharged engine – the former costs £75,695 otr and the latter £79,995 otr and both have 20in sparkle finish alloy wheels and the special Autobiography Design Pack which includes a leather headlining and duo-tone seats.

The MY10 Range Rover Sport and new Discovery 4 are not scheduled to hit the showrooms until the 1st September, 2009 and more information about the price and specification of those models will be released nearer that date.

  1. …and yet we see no Rover cars. Surely it wouldn’t be hard to make a midsize car to around the X-TYPE. Alex.
