The 30th annual Club Lotus Show and Festival takes place at Donington Park, back at its traditional dates of 20-21 April 2013. The show is the biggest and best attended indoor Lotus Show in Europe and regularly attracts over 5000 enthusiasts from all around the world.

The show itself will be bigger than ever before with Club Lotus planning a new show layout inside the newly refurbished halls. All the regular trade, club, autojumble and memorabilia stands will be there and many will have special offers just for the weekend. You’ll also be able to talk to the club’s technical experts who’ll be running live technical and practical demonstrations on Lotus engines, chassis, gearboxes, interior trim, glass fibre repairs and painting.

Lotus Cars and Classic Team Lotus will be there with special displays as well as celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jim Clark winning his and Lotus’ first Formula 1 World Championship. Hundreds of Lotus cars – both road and race – reflecting the great history and heritage of Lotus, will be displayed both inside the hall and on the many club stands outside.

Club Lotus is currently in discussions to hold a Lotus only trackday on Friday 19 April, plus more driving activities over the weekend that will be confirmed in due course. Club, Trade and exhibitor information and booking packs are now available from Club Lotus.

As always there will be lots to see and do inside the hall including individual Lotus club displays and a used Lotus car sales area. All the major UK Lotus specialists will be at the show selling everything from new cars, tuning kits, new and used spare parts and accessories to insurance, photographs, memorabilia, models, clothing and accessories. A large and varied Lotus autojumble will provide bargain hunters with plenty of fun and value. All Lotus models will be catered for with companies such as Paul Matty, Christopher Neil and PNM covering the classics and Hangar 111 among others looking after Elise and Exige owners.

Organised by Club Lotus, the worlds biggest and oldest Lotus Club, the weekend is certain to be the biggest UK Lotus gathering in 2013 and the place to be for all Lotus enthusiasts. Club Lotus offers a wide range of benefits to members and membership still only costs £30 per year.

  1. An event I’d love to see. Current F1 dosen’t interest me, but a chance to see the cars associated with imortals like
    Clark,that is something special.

Closest I get is going to Lakeside Raceway, where some the Tasman Cup races were held in the ’60s.

Just imagine, a World Champion drivers comming out to Aus & NZ for a race series in the F1 off season
