Ford of Britain transferred the ownership of the luxury car maker Jaguar Cars Ltd. to its parent company, the Ford Motor Company of Detroit. Martyn Watkins, a spokesman for Ford of Britain, said the transfer would not affect Ford’s commitment to Jaguar and added that the luxury car maker would keep its headquarters in Coventry, England.
