‘Sabotage’ blast at Cowley denied
Austin Rover and the police have denied that the explosion at its Cowley plant on Wednesday was sabotage. Gas board officials and factory inspectors yesterday examined debris. Twenty-six men were injured. The most seriously hurt, Mr Leslie Lee, aged 50, from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, is in the intensive care unit at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. He has head injuries.
