8,000 CAR WORKERS TO REPORT FOR DUTY

More than 8,000 workers laid off at British Motor Corporation factories in Birmingham and Oxford have been asked to report back today.  The unofficial strike of 140 internal transport drivers at the company’s Fisher and Ludlow body plant in Birmingham, which led to the lay-off, is expected to end this morning.
