The board of Leyland Motors Limited has agreed to the resignation of Mr J. L. Blackwood Murray as a director of that company.
His responsibilities as managing director of Leyland’s principal subsidiary in South Africa necessitate his permanent residence abroad and on that account prevent him from taking part in matters of major policy which are the prerogative of the parent board.
