JAGUAR STRIKERS TO GO BACK
FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
COVENTRY, JULY 1
Production was resumed tonight at Jaguar Cars Ltd., Coventry, after a decision earlier in the day to return to work by 200 striking sheet metal workers.
Some of the men returned tonight but the bulk will resume tomorrow. Local union officials will now ask their national officer to take the members grievances to the employers federation. Their protest was over a management survey of labour strength about which they said they should have been consulted first.
