Today a meeting is held to discuss the merger of the Leyland Group and British Motor Holdings. Among those present are Sir George Harriman (BMH), Sir Donald Stokes (Leyland), Sir Frank Kearton (chairman of the Governments Industrial Re-organisation Committee and Courtaulds), and John Pears (Cooper Brothers), the latter being Stokes financial advisor.

The location of the meeting is unknown.
