RALLY MECHANIC KILLED IN CAR CRASH
One of the mechanics in the British Motor Corporation’s Monte Carlo rally team was killed in a car crash yesterday while on his way to Southend Air- port to join the team in France.
He was Luther Douglas Hamblin, of East Hanney, near Wantage, Berkshire. The car in which be was travelling, driven by Mr. R. Bokins, of Heather Road, Milton, Abingdon, was in collision with one driven by Mr. D. Atherton, of Chislehurst, Kent, on an icy patch at Remenham, Berkshire.
